Things to do in November 2025
Your curated guide to November's arts and culture in Liverpool, Manchester and across the North West
You may notice something missing from this month’s guide - Christmas. It’s not just that it seems too early to be ding donging merrily on high, although I did do a double take at the many, many varieties of mince pies already in the supermarket yesterday. But there are so many festive events taking place that they deserve a newsletter all to themselves. This will be coming soon.
In the meantime, Homotopia - Liverpool’s month-long celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture - starts today. This year, the theme Uprising and more than 70% of the festival’s events are free to attend. I’ll be including some of them in future Stored Honeys as the month goes along, and I’m looking forward to following the Queer Places heritage trail If These Walls Could Talk, taking over the city’s walls, windows and streets throughout the month, revealing hidden stories of queer life. Visit queerplaces.co.uk for the full trail.
