Things to do in April 2025
Your curated guide to April's arts and culture across the North West
I’m always on the look out for great writing about culture in the North West so I was excited to hear that Manchester-based music magazine SEEN has released a second issue. The new publication focuses on decolonising electronic music and includes features on a project linking Mancunian and Palestinian artists, and social media’s role in framing beauty standards in electronic music.
Interesting stuff. If this has whet your whistle, SEEN is available to order online now, as well as in real life at locations including Manchester Museum shop.
Other exciting things happening in April include loads of theatre and an exhibition celebrating toys. There are plenty of already opened exhibitions running throughout the month too - you can find quite a few of them in March’s guide.
