March 2024 highlights: Theatre, exhibitions and events in the North West
Your guide to what's on in Liverpool, Manchester and across the region
It’s a bit risky to say this - and I’ll probably be chipping ice off the rabbits’ hutch in our garden tomorrow - but it feels ever so slightly spring-like today. I spotted pink camelia flower and white blossom on my walk this morning, and our magnolia is poised to burst into brief-but-beautiful bloom. As well as being the month when nature starts to stir from its winter slumber, March is when the arts scene fully wakes up with theatre programmes at full flow and new exhibitions seeming to open every week.
So here are my picks of things to see in the month ahead. As always, it’s not intended to be a comprehensive listings service. There will no doubt be some brilliant things I have missed out - feel free to berate me for skipping your favourite event in the comments. And many of the shows I highlighted in February are still running - check those out here.
If you work for an arts organisation and would to see your activities included in Stored Honey, please drop me an email to tostoredhoney@gmail.com or message me in the comments.
